Created on 2001, it tries to promote the sharing of experiences and works developed on the research area of digital libraries. It is a tool that draws together different communities (librarians, documentary makers, computer scientists) so they knowledge can be shared among different communities, all of them somehow related to the multidisciplinary area of digital libraries. It serves also as an incentive for the collaboration among specialists on technology and specialists on contents.
