Description:
The goal of this project consists of the development of a web tool, based on database technology, for the creation and maintenance of interactive content, including text, image, audio, video and animated graphics, links, and interactive activities - tests, true/false questions, and short answers, gap-fill, matching, crosswords and map exercises - and their organization into several different structures like, for instance: text books with themes and units; narrated classical tales with interactive activities inside their pages; or, of course, the classical reading books with linear text, just organized into pure chapters. Summarily, it will be a tool for the creation of interactive electronic books (enhanced ebooks) in HTML format; optionally, the ebooks may also be stored using alternative standards like SCORM 2004 or ePUB.
